Something Kind of Woo was born from a feeling. The kind of feeling you get when you hold a crystal in your palm and it just feels right, or when a number keeps appearing and you know it means something. It’s that little nudge from the universe that says: “There’s more to this world than meets the eye.”

And that’s exactly what Something Kind of Woo is—a place where the mystical and the meaningful meet. A place where the wisdom of ancient practices can be explored with a sense of wonder, and where spirituality is celebrated in all its forms.

But let’s start with the name—woo.

For a long time, “woo” has been used to dismiss or mock the spiritual, the magical, and the mysterious. But I’m reclaiming it. To me, woo is a word of power. It speaks of energy, intention, intuition, connection, and joy. It’s the realm of Reiki and moon phases, of tarot cards and numerology, of angel numbers and affirmations. It’s the sparkle of a crystal and the stillness of a deep breath. Woo is not weird—it’s wonder. And it’s welcome here.

I started Something Kind of Woo because I wanted to create a space that felt like coming home—for anyone who’s ever felt a pull toward the spiritual, the unseen, the in-between. I wanted to make a place that felt warm and grounded, not intimidating or “out there.” A space that celebrates curiosity just as much as confidence.

Whether you’re someone who’s always been drawn to the glimmer of crystals, or you’re beginning to sense there’s something deeper in the healing energy of crystals, this is your space. If you’ve been working with angel cards for years or you just got your first nudge from the universe last week, you belong here. You don’t need to know everything to be part of this community—you just need to feel the call.

Something Kind of Woo is more than a crystal shop. It’s a living, breathing experience. It’s a place where you will find a gift for that friend who’s a little ‘out there’. It’s a place where you are encouraged to be curious. It’s a place where you are encouraged to spend time, not money. I offer Reiki healing, guided meditations, soulful events, and tools to help you connect more deeply with yourself and the energy around you. But more than that, I hope I offer a sense of belonging—for anyone who’s ever looked up at the stars and felt both small and limitless at the same time.
